The 3rd volume of the Trumpet Fox is intended to help the advanced trumpeter from music school level to the professional study literature. This volume is also ideal for preparing for competitions and studies. The present school builds on the first two volumes, but can also be included parallel to volume 2. The 3rd volume proceeds very carefully with regard to both the keys and the height. In this learning phase it is especially important for the student to understand the music in its innermost being and to learn to love it. It is of central importance in the education of a young musician to know and enjoy (!) the differences in expression and style of different musical genres. Whether baroque, classical, traditional or modern music: all styles need to be mastered. Of course the young trumpeter should also be able to distinguish between swing, rock or funk style. Other main topics are ornamentation technique, transposing, double and triple reed. A well thought-out recording program, as well as special training blocks with ideas from Max Schlossberg and James Stamp, are intended to support the development of a high degree of approach flexibility and mature breathing technique, and are ideal for expanding the range of sounds. Making music together is equally important. The numerous duets contribute to the development of empathy and intonation.
